Dr. Jeanne Budgin recently delivered four days of continuing education to veterinarians Arequipa, Peru. Congreso Dermatologia Arequipa was organized by Dr. Vanessa Teran, a veterinarian with an interest in dermatology that previously spent a month training with the doctors at Riverdale Veterinary Dermatology. The program was very popular with both didactic and hands on training presented including demonstration of the dermatology examination, collection and evaluation of skin samples, and an introduction to microscopy and cutaneous cytology. A great combination of learning and socializing in a beautiful country! We even made the local newspaper!
